They initially provided us cartons to pack our clothes and other small luggage items and then on shipment day their staff came and packed all appliances and decorations professionally. When i reached UK their counterpart here also were very professional took around 15-20 days for our luggage to arrive not a single thing was broken or missing. We moved our from Abu Dhabi to Auckland recently. Due to the strict quarantine regulations and long wait time for the shipping routes, we were cautious about the moving companies over promising and not delivering. ELL handled our shipment professionally and the move was seamless.
From the start, viewing the items and receiving a quote (we had a 3 bed room appt ++ amounting to 100 boxes) was clearly explained along with insurance clauses.
Packing- the dates are confirmed and reconfirmed. We had to change some dates and the company clearly informed us their availability. The packers are very, very hardworking. Paid attention to new ware and prohibited items. Loads of paper, bubble wrap and boxes provided to ensure the items did not shatter while transporting.
Shipping dates- this was clearly followed and explained. Nandhini and her team are exceptional with all the paperwork and follow up process.
Customs clearance and arrival to the port- there was constant contact once we arrived and updates on the shipment leaving UAE. The handling agents in Auckland were quick to reply and professional in their correspondence
Delivery- Imagine 100 boxes arriving to your doorstep. We did not move a pin, everything was placed in order and as per our requirement. The handover sheet accounted for all the boxes.
We went through several quotes, highly branded companies and meetings with shipment companies but the services of ELL Worldwide Movers was absolutely exceptional from the start to the finish. It is important to note that ELL provides their service until the goods reach your doorstep and do not abandon you once the shipment has left the country of origin.

After enquiring with several relocation companies, we appointed ELL for our relocation from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Auckland, New Zealand. Our shipment was door to door and handled by Timothy Navarro. Right from the initial inspection/measure up through to following up after the delivery, we found Timothy to be very professional and responsive. We ended up going with a shared 40ft container option of which our share was 30CBM. The packing team arrived on time, packed our household contents to a high standard and cleaned up after themselves. From the initial request for a quotation until the goods were delivered, Timothy and the team dealt with us in a very professional manner. after signing the contract, the team arrived on time, packed everything perfectly over 2 days, shipped on time, and their partner delivered on time. The packing was perfect that nothing was damaged when arrived home. It was only during the unpacking that the team scratched a few wooden doors but the insurance covered the damaged and paid in 10 days. There was no issue in the claiming process.
We shipped a 30cbm in a solo 20ft container that left Dubai in the middle of December 2022 and arrived to Ireland in the middle of January 2023. The door to door service is highly recommended. We have used ELL Worldwide Movers for all of our moves, in the recent years:
1. International: Full 20 foot container to Germany from Abu Dhabi with a few months in storage
2. International: Shared Container from Dubai to Rotterdam and then via truck to Germany
3. Domestic: From Abu Dhabi to Dubai
4. Domestic: From Dubai into storage and then to a new address in Dubai.
With two Domestic moves and two international moves with ELL Worldwide Movers, I can state with surety that I am extremely happy with them and would most definitely use them again and again.
Starting with the quotation. A representative of ELL Worldwide Movers visits you, at your home, in order to access your needs and requirements and there after ascertain a quotation, for your move. The quotation arrived shortly thereafter via email with a lot of information with rules and regulations, particularly pertaining to the international move. All information areas are covered in detail, but if you require more information ELL Worldwide Movers are ready and eager to help cover any concerns or added information. I was in contact with a lovely lady by the name of Sheefa, she was my go to person and nothing was too small or large for her to handle. Sheefa always answered my calls and What’s Apps, timeously. She is super informative, efficient, responds quickly and a pleasure to speak to.
We moved both domestically and internationally during Covid. Many times we had to change our move date. Sheefa was super accommodating and patient with us. Nothing was a problem for ELL Worldwide Movers. They were supportive in all circumstances.
On the day of our move, The ELL Team arrived on time and well prepared for the Covid crisis. Mask’s were worn and appropriate distances were kept, considering we were all working in the house together.
The ELL Moving Team is lead by Mr. Jerry. Jerry is polite and energetic man. We showed him what was to be packed and what wasn’t to be packed. As we had to split our move into two. One internationally and the other domestically. The ELL Packing Team were friendly, fast, efficient and organised. Items that were packed were well wrapped and protected. (Much to the dismay of the Germany Unpackers on the otherside, but only due to the recycle amount of plastic and paper. But what else are you to pack your items with “ I asked”. Every Country has their own rules and regulations.
So continuing the theme of wrapping, in our first move nothing broke. And in our second move we had a shared container and only one pot plant holder broke. However I must stress this is probably because of the handlers at the port of Rotterdam when moving the items and placing them into the truck. In additional our shared container arrived just after the crisis in the Suez Canal had been cleared. So congestion at the port must have been immense!
Every box was labeled with our name and a number. The packing list was ticked off by my husband as they loaded each box into the truck. Thereafter my husband was welcomed to watch the container being packed at the ELL Warehouse. My husband came back suitably impressed with the packing technique of Jerry and his team. We felt safe and secure that our prized possessions were in good hands.
Thereafter we tracked our shipment until it landed at our designated port, where it was transported via truck to our doorstep.
On the European side the Team was made up of two men which for me came as a bit of a shock as Jerry’s team was radically larger. But I realise we are in Europe with different needs and requirements, but I’m sure they were exhausted at the end of the day.
Overall I can with enthusiasm recommend ELL Worldwide Movers. As we all know moving is stressful, but with ELL at your side that stress will be reduce considerably. ELL Worldwide Movers are professional and knowledgable and I would use them again in a heart beat.
